Caretaker PM — ECP selects Khoso for the job

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

looks like some one’s account been hacked.

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Source? (Zaid Hamid doesn't count).

I will give you one strong argument. The Swat operation was started because people like Asma were yelling their guts out that women rights were being denied in the backdrop of the woman lashing incident. Her main job was to get the operation started at the behest of western powers. She is a meer jaffar whose strings are controlled from abroad.

The SWAT operation was about women's rights? Fascinating. I wonder what other feats she's capable of, apart from controlling the military and dictating to an establishment that plots to assassinate her.

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Hear, hear. Anyone who tirelessly confronts the army, judiciary, and speaks truth to power has my respect. And the fact that theocrats don't like her means she's doing something right. ;)

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

why caretaker PM is needed? Whats wrong with having election under an elected PM?

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Its hard to believe that Asma can be caretaker specially when she is at odds with Army/Agencies specially from last couple of years. No matter what we say, even today, Army still is the biggest stakeholder and player in this game.

:sadaf:

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

For ensuring transparency in the elections, otherwise the losing parties will not accept the results.

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Well no hard feelings chacha. However, I see the effect of my post. I had my reasons and reasons are very clear if someone knows who she had represented in the past  One does not need to be a god to know history. Your words were below the belt but again no hard feelings.

Now, the fact that I did not name names simply means I did not want to hurt the feelings of some particular group. You are aqalmand and understood the ‘ishara’ I guess

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Don't be much happy , I knew , he is not eligible to take part in next election , because of article 61 and 62 of the constitution .
So he could be a care taker PM .
I wanted to see **Nirralas **little happy .

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Is that in law?
The losing party will never accept the results, no matter what.

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Yes according to the 17th amendment after the completion of the term of the assembly a care taker government needs to be installed, and as per 18th amendment the caretaker should be nominated by the outgoing prime minister after consultation with the opposition leader.

Articles 62 and 63. Applying these articles, Imran Khan would not be able to hold membership of the parliament, but I wonder who would be qualified to stay in the parliament then?

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Lemme get the dossier I received from Interpol................oho, I don't have it on me, I think someone stole it.
Actions speak louder than words. Anyone with half a brain can study what she has been up to for the last decade. All the NGOs and the purported "women rights". Also, to back your claim, please provide proof of her NOT being the puppet of washington, or please provide a dossier proving her patriotism.

The swat operation was about women rights. Please see the media clippings and talk shows where the likes of you were yelling their guts out. The lashing video was shown at least a thousand times until it got imprinted on our brains. The video later turned out to be false, but did Asma and the likes of her apologize for creating a false hype? NO.

And yes, media, HRCP and NGOs have a strong influence on what happens in Pakistan. They can make a bad guy look good and make a good guy look bad. Also, I am fascinated that someone claims that media has no influence on things !!! fascinating !

Oh she's capable of a lot. Notable are her failed attempts to back-stab the Cheif Justice when she president of the bar.

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Guilty until proven innocent eh? Beauty

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Your obsession with Ahmadis is pathetic. Is that the only way for you to validate your iman? Quite sad.

I am not the COAS and therefore unable to appoint Asma permanant PM. If you don't like her, name your own choice. At least specify your reasons for disliking her instead of summarily declaring her a puppet of America, as so many of your friends have done, without backing it up.

The problem with you and your ilk is that you expect people to believe everything you say. If you say Ahmadis are non-muslim, well then they should have the sense to say they are non-muslim or else. If you guys say she is a puppet of xyz, we should take it as God's word even if you are unable to provide a shred of evidence.

You think that me telling you that you act like a god is below the belt. Well what exactly are you doing when you declare me non-muslim and question what is in my heart?

I do not like to derail threads and like to stick to the topic. I wish some of you guys could curb your obsession and also do the same.

Peace (psyah style)

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Being a caretaker PM, he should have at least three months to eradicate corruption from Pakistan.

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

Sufficient for Ik to ....................................

Re: Caretaker PM — Asma Jahangir or Hussain Haroon?

I know and I already said IK cannot be a member parliament if article 62 is applied. Just asking who would remain in parliament if it is applied?
