** **Now that our beloved Boys in Blue are blue in the face after their spectacular Sunday loss against Pakistan at Delhi’s Kotla ground, we’re wondering what they will do in the four-month odd break before the next series.
Strange how one day (or one dayer!)can change everything, eh?
Here’s what we think the Indian cricket team of the sorry record and still sorrier excuses will be doing.

**The Final Farewell
****Now that Capitaine Sourav Ganguly is definitely out of the next series — you have heard the ICC’s rejected his plea? — what will Dada be doing?
No, he won’t be doing many ads is what we’ve heard. What with Dada’s market value and all coming down. Tch, tch, fame is a fickle bed mate…
We say Dada will stay behind closed doors. People don’t forget easily you see.

****Another brick in the Wall. What can one say about him?
Since Dada won’t be playing the series, it’s going to be Rahul who’ll be leading the team.
But before he does that we think he’ll be heading for Ireland… haven’t you seen the ad?
Sigh. Other than practicing, our boys have everything else scheduled.
****Down show?
****Oh well, if only someone would tell the Master Blaster that it’s also gotta be Faster Master (!), especially with his runs! However, Tendiya seems to be in need of a break.
Whereas once it was that if he failed everyone else failed as well, today it seems that when everyone is failing, he too joins their gang.
Where are the match winning innings? While we wait for the return of this king, Tendiya we say, will probably head towards the US of A and tend to his injuries.
****The new P3P
****Well, Veeruji has been making waves. Obviously not on the field, that would be too much to ask for, but doing his modelling-shodelling on the tele.
Since cricket off-season starts now and there won’t be any playing (on the field that is), our guess is that Veeruji wil be spending time with his pretty wife and the duo will become the new P3P of Delhi.
We read Veeruji quoted somewhere that he doesn’t mind it one bit you know.
****Ab Irfan kya karega?
****Oh well. This is one lad who had a lot of promise. But while his recent non-performance on the field, we see him getting better in the advertisements he is signing up for these days.
Whether Irfan continues his (currently non-existant) magic with the ball we don’t know, he sure seems to have it in him to make it to Ball-iwood.
From beauty queens to cricketers towards Bollywood now?
****Meet Bhajji, the rocker
****Wonder what’s the presnet status between Harbhajan Singh and model Preeti Rao? Last heard they were talking about being in lurve. Then Bhajji announced he was would only marry the girl his parents approved of.
Oink. Ghapla on the field and off it as well? Arre Bhajji, at least have a decent game somewhere?!
Perhaps this in-between-series time is what Bhajji will do to improve his innings with the maidens.
Blowin’ his own trumpetDon Juan Zaheer Khan. The man who blew a kiss to a girl and made her blush.
If only he’d be as adept at spotting the batsmen’s weaknesses as he is spotting a pretty lass.
But guess boys will be boys, and as far as Zaheer dahling goes, his time will be spent perfecting the art of the flying kiss while he zips around in his fast cars.

**If Bhajji, Yuvi and Zaheer are having fun, Ashish Nehra can’t be far behind.
From what we’ve heard, our lad here is quite the jokester in the dressing room. When the team is down and out, it’s Nehra who is cheering them up.
