Need a Help Desk/Network Administrator
Great Computer Systems Inc. is looking for an energetic person with the following qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Must have at least one year experience in Help Desk/Computer Network Support.
- Minimum qualifications are Bachelor’s in Computer Science, A+ Certification, and some certifications in Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Knowledge and ability to program in Dot Net, Java, C#, Sql Server and MySQL will be a plus.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and resolve technical problems for established networks.
- Resolve networking and virus problems by taking remote control of computers.
- Maintain network and workstation hardware and software.
- Serve as technical specialist in network problems and emergencies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network production problems.
- Install, upgrade, and configure network printing, directory structures, user access, security, software, and file services.
- Establish user profiles, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed.
- Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as systems to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
- Monitor Data backup systems and apply fixes
- Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Communicate with clients for collection of bills and prepare invoices.
- Collaborate with software development team on tasks as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
