Salaam all. So I am in the middle of making this big decision. I have the option of staying on this slow but steady job, which is easy and stable. The other option I have is to become a contract worker with the possibility of making more money doing less work, however, the work will be not stable and more demanding. The current job does not offer much upward mobility and the raise tops outs fairly quickly which means there is only so far I can go. However, there are many vacations/holidays including optional summers. So I can’t really decide which one to go for. Should I stay and continue to wonder about becoming a contract or take a risk and hope for more gains?
Re: Career advice
Do one or the other or both or neither.
Re: Career advice
How long have you been doing the current job?
Your age, current level, goals, responsibilities, financial situation and demand are all factors, only you know them. How much risk for how much gain in a more holistic manner
Re: Career advice
the current job is better, meanwhile you can search for another
