I want to wats the difference between info sys n Info sci or comp. sci is.
although rite now i’m majorin ion info sys n almost through with my first yr of college i was thinkin about switchin my major.

what i been told and i think is the word in the industry is, Info systems is more to do with the busniess of it more project management, perposals, design, presentations etc. and comp sci.. is more hands on develpoment, codes, some DBA, programming,software etc. If you are in INFO sys.. you most probley start as a system admin,network admin and could go in to the busniess side to IT field such as managers and so on. If you are comp.sci.. you could start as a Web develop.. some DBA, programing, inhouse applications etc, and if you like in to management. As far as pay is concerned, Comp.sci make more as a entry level then info sys but after 3 to 5 years both make the same amount and then depends on the company and the exprience.
