it is a test of patience, yes, but if lived carefully and with dedication, caring for an elderly parent can be extremely fulfilling as they are given attention, spoken to, fed, given comfort, cleaned and cared for.
no amount of medical care can give them that peace, which presence of a caring child or son/daughter in law can give.
