apart from oil change every 3k miles, any other regular car maintenence?

Check Air pressure every now and then, ocassional cleaning, maybe keeping an eye on windshield wiper washer fluid etc.

if you live where I live and drive at high speeds with constant breaking ....then check your break pads

check your trans fluid, brake fluid, coolant, level, tire pressure etc, and keep an eye out for leaks too. (and if you are techy - look over the wiring looms they should not be damaged/chafed).
Brake pads are a regular - juss keep an eye on em. - do not wait till they are scratching themselves on the discs

Balance and rotate tires every 5000 miles. It will extend tires' life.

Here’s what you need to check.
Read the Manual for your car first and find out recomended
- Change of oil every 3000 to 7000 kilometers depending on oil grading or 3 to 6 months
- Check lights and tire pressure
- check underhood belt and hose
- Check for the Brake oil
- Check for Screen washing liquid
- check for Battery liquid
- Check for Gearbox oil
- Check for Spark plugs
- Check for Breaks
- clean Air filter and replace after 18000 to 36000 km
- Replace fule filter 36000 km (also depend what quality of fule you are getting)
- Change oil filter at least once in six months or after third oil change(depending on envirnment)
- Wheel Alignment and balancing after every 25000 km(depending on road conditions)
- change of belts and hose after 5 - 7 years (Also depend on road conditions)

i just changed the Fuel Filter, Air Filter, Spark Plugs, and oil change with engine flush..and i am getting 40km more on every gas tank, also the car is faster and smoother.
I guess you should do these things atlesat once every 30,000Km ever year and a half :)

AS, bhai…5000 miles…tussi rehri tay nahi chalnday kidhray? Its supposed to be 7500 miles earliest or 10k miles.

Every 3K miles is a scam....If its a jap car, 7K would suffice.....If Hamreekan, changing oil even everyday would not suffice.....

Chegu, bhai...Hamreekan car will go for 7500 miles...that is what I do. BTW My BIG ASS SUV is four years old.

Kaleem bhai. Jitnay mun itni baatein. I have thin performance tires on my car so they need frequent rotation. It guess it doesn’t apply to your Suburban.
