Car sickness

I used to have it a lot when i was little. Then it subsided but lately its back. I have to spend 2-3 hours daily in the car and it becomes unbearable. At times i had to park my car and give myself a few moments before i could breath normally. Even after i return home, i am not fine. Any solution for it?

Re: Car sickness

keep candies with you ! I also have similar problem whenever you start feeling down/sick keep a chocolate or candy in your mouth.

Re: Car sickness

I have gum all the time. It stopped working.

There are many over the counter medicines that work very well for car siickness, in the U.S. its available by the name of Dramomine, there s a non drowsy version as well. Also, eating icecream when car sick helps as well. Good luck.

Re: Car sickness

Never heard of medicines for car sickness. Must give them a shot:hmmm: But trust me i have ice cream a lot these days:(

I have taken dramomine many times and so has my son. It works.

Re: Car sickness

Sea-Bands/C-Bands are really good!

I have the worst air sickness - ever! you would not like to sit next to me during a flight. It ain’t pretty.

But i got sea bands, and now, flying is a piece of cake. I’m sure it will help you with car sickness too.

Re: Car sickness

Try looking for something for motion sickness. I get that when I am in a car with AC/heating. I need fresh air. Recently, it started happening to me in the subway and streetcars. Really, really annoying.

Anyway, I started using Gravol for motion sickness. I don't have to use it anymore, though.
