My son is going on 14 months now and me and hubby are looking to buy the next car seat for him. We started off with a rear-facing infant car seat by Grace which was part of travel system. Anyways he has outgrown that and trying to figure out which seat to buy. Apparently the options I have seen at BabiesRUs are either the convertible car seat that changes into a booster seat later on or a booster seat. I think right now we still need the seat which has the 5 point harness system. What seats do you guys recommend based on safety/comfort/ease of installation/size. It would be placed in a medium sedan…'05 Corolla.
We used a Britax forward facing that I brought back from UK for my kids when they were younger. It lasted through three kids and still looked great when we got rid of it. It was pricey, but it accomodated them until they were almost 5 (but my kids were small). It was easy to install, but I would still recommend going to a car seat check to make sure.
My youngest is in a Graco booster with the back. She still loves it.
