So Luongo is no longer the Captain of the Vancouver Canucks…
I think its a smart move on the teams part…too much extra pressure for a goaltender…(and Luongo sorta sucks as it is…so he should just concentrate at one thing at a time :P)
So who will be the new captain of the canucks…we shall wait and see…
Good candidates would be the Sedin twins or Kesler…

Yea your right they have a lot of major issues...but it would be nice to know who has the ultimate leadership role within the team...and therefore the added pressure!

And i totally disagree with you all!..Canucks has become one of the most successful team on ice. Not only about the best players but extremely very well fighting spirit. Tell me who gets more points than that team. The team has outstanding combination of toughness and skills. And lastly, canucks is considered one of the best teams in Eastern and Western conference. Others might say that canucks have a lot more to do but look at major competitors in the league they have same stamina -- skillfull and toughness. I mean ask malika how many times flames fan left arena with their faces down during playoffs.
Btw henrick Sedin has good chance of becoming captain.

Malika!. If you come out of "flames" shell than you'll see...Canucks and habs have more fan any other Canadian team combined. Btw...i am looking forward for Canucks and Flames opening match!! can't wait then!.
