For some reason CapsLock and shift key has stop responding to my request. It wont let me type anything in capital letters. I have uninstall the drivers and reinstall them, still no luck. Is there anything else I should do? I desperately need help

i think something is stuck under the keys? try washing it with ur favorite dishwasher liquid, then blow dry it and report back here

my rule is that if the cost of a peripheral is less then the "value" of time spent in resolving hardware problem then simply change it. :p

rite on :k: w/ exception that new hardware can be replaced quickly to resume life.
PD - hit the shift key five times… just tap on it… when u get a windows popup, check the settings…
if this doesn’t work, try 5abi’s trick
if that doesn’t work, uninstall keyboard drivers from device manager and restart computer

[Before you start. Open notepad and type "aaa" then hit Caps Lock and type "AAA". If case changes by hitting the Caps Lock, then your light is not working.]
Otherwise,
1.) Check with another keyboard.
2.) If problem is there, then it might be due to a short program (macro) that loads itself on startup.
2.a) Check the programs in your startup list.
2.b) If you cannot sort out then make a fresh install of your OS.
3.) In case the new keyboard worked, change your keyboard.
4.) If nothing works, then it is not the keyboard.

As for other ppl, it could be that I was posting from another computer, or from my office. Why don’t you guys use ur kidney for once.
Shift and Caps are not working, that means nothing is stuck under Caps key. However, I can use On-Screen Keyboard to work around it.

PD sis! four days since you opened this thread and still no resolve!. if a keyboard worths more then four days of ur preciouse time then i really think that its about time you consider choosing a different field.
