Allah gave Italians a whole lot of beauty in their country. This small island had something for everyone. 3 hour hiking trails that take you from 1500 feet down to sea level at Fragoli. Every designer shop that you can think of. Lemons and Orange trees everywhere. You can smell them on the street.
We met a lot of nice tourists from everywhere in the world but our “americanisms” stands out everywhere. We met a family from Kansas and my husband kept saying “You are not in Kansas anymore”
Walking up to Duomo was fun. The 460 some spiral stairs was crazy. There was guy counting from 1, 2, 3… he lost count after 245.
Capri is one of my favourite spots on the planet. I was there on 2 diff occassions and have very fond memories associated with the place.. going up to the ruins in the ski lift type thing, tlue, emerald and white grotto, renting bikes and zipping from capri to ana capri. My first tri was at a time where there were many tourists, and second trip when it was pretty quiet, loved both times, each had its own charm.

X2 - did you rent mopeds or bikes? Those are some steep roads to bike on.
