Instaphone (one of the primary cell phone service providers in Pak) has started this new service. They just sent an sms to all their customers saying that they can subscribe to “Wicket alert” of the India/Pak test match so that whenever a wicket falls the customer will be sms’ed and alerted and Rs 2 charged.
I was just thinking … WOW..What a great way to capitalise on an opportunity to make money by the Instaphone folks. Really Damn Smart.
That’s called quick thinking. I was impressed.
p.s. I guess not all customers welcomed this service with open arms though. When my daddy got the SMS he just said “ullu ke pathay khabees raat ke bara bajay message kerte haen” and deleted the mssg
