Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

The popular show, Capital Talk owes a alot to Imran Khan for its success. Yesterday, Imran and Awan were the guests and they clashed with each other on the issue of Zardari being the presidential candidate. In the end Babar Awan, after getting completely outsmarted by Imran started whining and accusing Hamid Mir of ‘Time Tampering’, after a showdown of lowly accusations. However, he got PWNED big time by Imran Khan! Watch it on youtube, its the Aug 24, 08 episode of Capital Talk.

Oh and Imran also bashed the hell out of Musharraf, and stated as to why so many lawyers were paid millions of dollars to pursue cases against Zardari and then finally asked to withdraw all charges due to the NRO pardon. He said he blames Musharraf more than Zardari for the present scenario.

Re: Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

And during the show, Zardari called Babar and asked him to mention Imran's paternity issue, after he realized Imran was completely destroying him.

You mean Imran and Awan.

Re: Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

oh yeah my bad, the fact that zardari called in during the show made it seem like it was him talking :hehe:

Re: Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

it was pure fun to watch :).

Re: Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

I sincerely hope Imran Khan shores up all principled folks and comes away with the most disciplined Socio-Political party Pakistan has seen. The way things are brewing, it would be beneficial if he (IK) starts to do his homework right now. The time will give him an opportunity for his sincerity to the nation and its people.

I hope for his party to become the true mainstream people's voice. God knows people need a leader...

Re: Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

swiss courts rule in zardari's favour.

seems a little too well timed.

PTI needs to be organized properly. which it has not today and has not been. Imran can not continue to be Pakistan's Ralph Nader. He can do a lot more, but PTI needs a lot to become a stable and organized entity.

First Imran has to change. He is just trying to use peoples sentiments to shine his politics and to hang around. Infact i am not sure if he is sincere to his own neocon views.

Re: Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

his views can be debatable depending on whether you are a fan or not. But what is clear is that he is not able to build a team around him that can accomplish jack.

Re: Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

Oh my God...Imran totally ripped the shmuck Awan apart!

Re: Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

So far Imran has used his charm and personality to be heard in the public.

I guess the way things have been moving, Pakistani people will be attracted by the issues and solutions a party/leadership has to offer.

He have to develop certain solutions ( practical, with ground realities in mind) and base his politics on it.

Please open a separate topic and discuss that, for now at least talk about, or just admit how Imran nailed that Zardari chamcha, because thats what the topic is about, even if you didnt like it :)

Re: Capital Talk - Imran Khan and Babur Awan

I didnt watch the whole interview so can someone tell me where in the interview (in YT or PP video)imran used bad language for zardai? and what did he say?

rich coming from you to open a seperate thread :)
and please dont assume that I did or did not like it. Imran is always impressive in discussions, he is a very well spoken person.

technically post #8 is where the thread moved in that direction, u may want to tell em folks as well ya know..even if you liked it :)

He didnt use any bag language, he just called a crook a crook, thats all... Its just that whenever Imran outsmarts others, some people find it very hard to digest, and they'll bring in the same old ghissey pittey topics like 'oh but what about sita white', 'oh well he needs to do something about his party which will never rise' blah blah...
