I have been having this problem for some time, I am unable to view embedded videos, whether YouTube or otherwise in the forum threads. I didn’t have this problem initially, but now it’s getting annoying as I can’t see them on the page, there’s just a blank space where the link/video is supposed to be and I have to guess that its a video link posted.
Please help with this issue.

It's the videos you posted or all videos on forum? If you can't see ANY video then it's your browser issue.

i get this thing too...where u see just blank instead of the video...but it comes as soon as i refresh the page...and still if it does not then i logout form gs and log back in and then it comes.
there for try to refresh the page. if no help then logout from gs and come back on it.

If u guyz uploading youtube videos then use this code directly to upload in any thread.
[yt] You tube vide name [/y] <---- without space.
on youtube, below the vide there is a button **share **click on it and copy the code i.e. v-459agfgc . copy it and paste it as under:

Just a suggestion:
It would be somewhat time consuming for members to find or remember this ^ post when really needed.
Is it possible in right column, a link be placed for that which takes the person directly to these kind of simple instructons?
Maybe same can be done for 'smilies' and other links under "features", without going to advanced features.

I'm having this problem here on gs but not exclusively, although i can watch embedded videos on some other forums. I also cant see any youtube videos that i upload here in any thread, even after using the yt tags as required.
My flash players is updated and working fine, cookies are enabled, using firefox, but still unclear on what to do next. :( Please help.

mickeymouse! the same video which u tried to upload in thread, i uploaded it by using 'YT Tags' check your pm :) Also plz be noted that the code of the any video which u type in betwen YT tag must be entered correctly otherwise the video will not upload.
Another reason is that the video is not upload as public views. If a person would like to view it then he/she must sign in his/her youtube account first. Maybe due to this the vidoe wasn't displaying when u copy its codes.
