Cant read my blog

Some people have said they cant read my blog here. I dunno why. Is there something I need to do or perhaps they need to do? I really dunno what is wrong. confused

Re: Cant read my blog

I can't see it either :(

Re: Cant read my blog

Munni, whoever from your buddylist can't read your blog, you need to delete them and re-add them again. I have done it myself and help few others to resolve this issue. Worked everytime according to my experience. Smile

Re: Cant read my blog

Munni: by default, all blogs which were imported from the old "journals" are private. So you have make them public, before they can be viewed by anyone :-)

Re: Cant read my blog

AQ, but why cant it just be made public so anyone can view?

Gizzy, how do I make it public? I made a new journal entry and still my friends say they cant read what I wrote.

I dunno what to do. confused

Aaana, yeah I dunno why. smack

Re: Cant read my blog

Did you go to school ??

Re: Cant read my blog

Check "Blog Control Panel" on the left side under options on the Blog main page

Re: Cant read my blog

Munni...enable the comments section too :D

Re: Cant read my blog

Lusi can you check if you can read it, I changed the settings. grin If you cant see the snow pic and cant make comments then I dunno what to dooooooo.

AQ, thanks, I did that right after posting my comment so hopefully it works now. But I noticed I couldnt comment in certain ppls journals. I guess that means I am not on their buddylist yet?

knockout, lol, the title meant others cannot read my blog. Yes, I am still in school. snooty

Re: Cant read my blog

If you can see the blog then, you have access but not able to comments means the comment option for that entry is disabled.. by default any journal entry from previous journal were not commentable (unless they can run a query to enable it for everyone)... user must enable the comment option for such entries by individually editing them and checking the comments allowed checkbox...

for any new entry you can set allow comments by default from the Blog Control Panel or check it while posting an individual entry for that particular post alone...

Re: Cant read my blog

AQ, but the entry I wanted to comment on had other comments in it. And it was a recent journal entry (I think it was either yesterday or today). But I did not have the option to comment. I can only read other peoples comments on it. smack

Re: Cant read my blog

then, the user might have disabled comments after getting those comments… was the entry “edited” and if it was, the timestamp on it was after the last comment’s timestamp? Jasoos :smokin2:

Munni, I can read your blog but cannot comment. Check your comment settings...

Re: Cant read my blog

Okay I have changed my settings again, atleast you guys can read it. hehe.

Lusi, can you try commenting to see if it works now? If not then I will try posting a new entry and see if comments can be made to the new one after having changed my settings.

Thanksssssssss.
