Whats with this android app, whenever i try to post a pic from android app in a thread, it says " user has logged in but does not have permission to perform requested action".
Then at gs rss site , it doesnt even show any option to post a pic.just the text .
The full site also does not allow to upload any pic that ive downloaded on my phone(note). The camera shots , ive uploaded just once that too after a long period of loading.
If anyone is using note, pl help me sort this out. Thanks.

And teggy bhai, please check the mobile site also, there is no option to post a pic. I tried using note's own browser and firefox app, both dont show any option.

Just took a camera shot and tried posting it thru android app but same error came up, whether its a downloadedpic or a shot taken from my note camera, same error shows. Heres the details of the pic i tried posting:

I installed image resizer app on my mobile, resized the jpeg pic to jpg and posted it successfully from my mobile. I guess android phones store pics in jpeg format.
Is there any other way to post a pic , not using image resizer app, also?

Does the pics shot at 2.5 megapixel resolution from mobile camera are only ones uploadable through gs android app? When i try posting pics taken at higher resolution than 2.5 (8megapixel in note) the pics wont upload.
And the ones downloaded from web, ive to run them through resizing app to post through gs app.

Thanks for your patience, and continuous feedback. There seems to be an issue with the image uploader. I dragged the image taken from phone, to desktop and image uploader is having trouble uploading that. Still looking into a permanent solution for it. For the mean time, I apologize for the inconvenience and extra steps you've had to take to get image uploaded. Please use that method until a permanent fix is post. I will update here as soon as a resolution is available. inshaAllah

It would be great if i just take a pic from my mobile camera or download a pic from web and post directly through gs app.

I've submitted the issue for more thorough review. Through troubleshooting, it's definitely an issue with image uploader. I was able to upload an image to my profile directly from the pictures on my phone using the Android App. But no success when attempting to attach image(s) to a post, or to upload them using Full Site mode/image uploader. I will be sure to keep you up to date as new information becomes available. Thanks for your patience bro. I apologize for the wait.

Teggy bhai, ive upgraded to galaxy note 2 :). Tried posting pics at a resolution higher than 2.5 megapixels but couldnt through gs android app. Same problem.and the ones downloaded from web also didnt upload/post as these are of higher resolution too. Have to run them through image resizer app first.

Please keep using the image resizer, until we have tweaked the GS App. Thanks for the feedback brother.
