Ah, thanks Umer. Yes, it is called the S500 here. I’m looking into getting the S410 or the new A95. The S410 is very pretty and much smaller than the A95, which is why I’m primarily leaning towards it. I can’t decide between the two. ![]()
Go for the Ixus if u wanna point and click and presets
If u like to change alot of things manually (which I doubt
), go for the A95 ![]()

I was going to get the Sony T1, but i went for the W1 instead. the LCD is jsut as big (2.5) and it’s 5 megapixels..i got it for 379 USD, priced about twenty dollars lower than the normal price (399). It takes good pix, and i havn’t taken any to be printed out yet, but i like it, and im happy with it. ![]()
but there’s a wire that came wtih it and im not sure what it’s for. ![]()

Pakistanis chat a load of **** while white men know their stuff ?
if you want a qualified professional go to tour nearest large elctrical store and some white guy comes ask for help on CCD sizes and interferance. What ever is the most expensive will suit your needs regardless of quality. Chances are they wont know what size of CCD reults on picture quality.

Maybe but i found 'not some guppies on a Paki board' quite offensive. If the word Paki was taken out no offence would be taken but to my interpretation it sounds like this is a board of mainly Pakistani people it should not be taken seriously.
NOT THE USB!!!
yaar i am nto that dumb…im not sure wat it is, im so frustrated ![]()
could be the video out.. some cameras let you plug into your TV to preview your photos there..

Correct. But even Geizhals normally narrows the search down to Austrian companies only. I broadened it to include German companies as well and voila => Got it for 333 Euro + 16 Euro handling charges = 349 Euro. :)
The camera is amazing. I like it´s small size, it´s functions, it´s photo quality. It´s just WOW!
I´ll post some pics I made with it soon in Image Gallery. :k:
My advice (and from any other in a bit of professional photography), never look beyond Canon & Nikon when it comes to still digital cameras. These guys are masters in photo and optics. For video cameras, Sony is the best.

Excellent choice Umer. I’ve been using the Digital Elph s100 for about 4 yrs now. All I ever had to do was get a new battery last year. Mine is ofcourse a 2 mpx, but I’ve been content with it so far. I recently took a similar picture (as urs) at a fishing trip. Here are the links:
Wow Tofi, those are nice pics!!
Thank you. Those sunset colors never cease to amaze me doesn't matter how old I get.
Good choice Umer, I bought this too on the recommendation of two other people with the same camera. It’s fantastic isn’t it?
