I have a Canon digital camera which works fine. Lately, I have been noticing that pictures on the display screen of the camera show up much brighter and clearer (even after zooming in) on the camera, but when I transfer them onto my computer, they are a lot darker for some reason. I’m not sure why this is happening and it never used to happen before. When I say darker, I mean A LOT darker. Could this be something in the settings? I have it set on ‘vivid’. These are pictures that were taken outdoors … they show up fine on the display screen but 10x darker on the computer. ![]()

Re: Canon Digital Camera Question
haha, very funny boys. There is nothing wrong with my monitor. The brightness/clarity is fine for everything else except these Canon pics.
Re: Canon Digital Camera Question
Try the exposure level. U shoudl be able to meneuvre the +/- in the auto exposure.
Re: Canon Digital Camera Question
try turning down the brightness of your camera LCD..
If your model supports it, use the histogram instead of the LCD image to evaluate exposure... camera LCD's often show a brighter image which is misleading.
