There's nothing wrong with owning multiple cameras though. There's always Ebay as DP suggested.

The W1 is fairly recent in terms of technology.. you really won't get much by upgrading it.. maybe in a year or two if something different comes along.. till then, unless it's broken, it's enough of a Point 'n Shoot to have.
As for Degas.. sorry your thread got sidetracked.. i'd say look at the Canon A610 and A620.. best damn cameras for the price period. With good Dell deals u can get the A610 for under $180 and A620 for under $200.
Office Depot had this insane deal.. A610 for about $160 with some coupons.. no rebates.. maybe they'll have it again.

Panasonic FZ-20 was much better compared to Canon S2 IS.
