ok … i just re-installed windows xp pro…and im not able to install sound card … i went to device manager and i see the sound card as not being installed. When i click it to install , after a while it says… ‘cannot install this hardware’
You have to install the drivers from the Drivers CD which came along with the card. BTW which what is the make of the card. Usually SB cards are easily picked up by Windows XP installation.
