Cannot hear Flash

Hey,

Recently i discovered i cannot hear flash videos, eg google video and flash files (.swf) ive also noticed that my volume button is missing from next ot the clock in the taskbar. ive tried readding it through control pannel, the box is checked but it still does not show..

Any ideas please.

Try this

Click on "Start" button on your taskbar then click on "Run", after that type sndvol32.exe (filename) and press enter, your volume settings should be appeared on your screen if it doesnt then may be your this file would be corrupted. :)

eyh my volume controls do pop up, but theres still no button near the clock even though its ticked in control panel.. and still the sounds the same :S

Most probaly for the sound problem you would need to install some external codecs. The other option is re-install the flash plugin, it'll automatically fix the files that have been either errupted or removed by another application.

Try to reinstall your sound driver, if it still doesnt work just start Windows XP setup againt it takes only 20-30 mins. to refresh everything, nothing will be delete on your PC.

ahh i got my problem backk :( helpp i cant hear any videos on GS video section or on any flashh :(

Uncheck it and press OK then check it again and press OK again... if it doesnt appear again then reinstall the drivers.
