Assalamoalaikum

we bought a scented candle and accidentally as you do sometimes spilled some candly wax on our persian rug now it has gone all brittle and the bright stain makes it looks horrible…

suggestions plz

i have two ideas

aik kapra rakho us stain k oopar aur oopar istree karo us k

hopefully the wax will melt and stick to the cloth?

OR

take some boiling water and spill on the wax? maybe it will melt the wax (it wont spoil the carpet tho wil it? :konfused: ) and then take a cloth and quickly absosrb that liquidy mixture of water and melted wax

u’ll have to repeat these processes several times i guess

hmm luc do be careful that the istri doesnt scorch/burn the carpet…

p.s. is wax soluble in alcohol? u cud go to a chemist or ur chemistry teacher, ask which chemical is wax soluble in, take a chunk from the remaining candle and chek k waQai is it soluble and then if it is then try to pour that liquid over that wax,

but alcohol or that liquid might discolor the carpet

Rip a paper bag large enough to cover stain, iron over the spot, keep doing this with a new piece of paper bag until out, then treat stain.

Sorry, this will take a while, but I have done it and it works.

hmm..LUC stick a gum on top of the wax stain..once u do that lemme know and i can send u a tootka on how to remove gum from ur carpet..
