the blood test is actually more accurate then the finger,
please all of you if there is a male here over the age of 35 go and get it checked.

There is no specific blood test for Prostate Cancer. The closest test is called a PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood test - higher levels are seen in malignancy but it is NOT necessarily indictive of malignancy because your PSA levels are influenced by other factors such as inflammation, age and even some drugs. It is more of a guidance and your specialist will then send the patient for a prostate biopsy.

Muzna..you won't get 100% specificity in Medicine..Medicine is an inexact science ..which makes it so distinctive from other sciences. PSA is used as a standard but it's not very accurate.
