Yes. Survival strategy against cancer cells is Vitamin B12. Research into this as I have and it will show that it is the only vitamin, when taken in regular quantity and amounts, will kill cancerous cells in your body and at any stage of cancer development when the malignant tumor starts to spread, start taking Vitamin B12 tablets immediately. I have come across personal stories where subjects have taken this for an extensive period of time and have went to doctors for their checkup and have found out that the tumor has completely gone out of their system without any proof or medical evidence. This is the only vitamin which possesses the properties of fighting and eventually killing the bad cells from the point of it's origin. The survival rate with this is near full recovery, for the cases I have accustomed with.
Re: cancer and its treatments
wow!! amazing
but its not sumthing approved yet right???
wat bout orthodox treatments like radiation, chemotherapy and surgeries wats their survival rate??
Re: cancer and its treatments
and dhobi bhai plz explain how vit b12 help with cancer :)
It falls under your vitamins. It doesn't have to get the green light for cancer treatment. This process works on it's own without having to go through the medical procedures. Take this in the same manner as you take your multi-vitamins or any other pills/tablet. Also, look for foods that have Vitamin B12 in them, non-fat yogurts have a considerable quantity in it. Great Value non-fat yogurts dedicate 15% of Vitamin B12 in their 8 fl oz. packet. Research on it and find what you can on it because it is important to find out on your own and see what the positive and negative effects of it is. Vitamin B12 forces only positive reactions in cancer patients or even someone who is perfectly normal. Anything in excess derives it's negatives.
Re: cancer and its treatments

Re: cancer and its treatments
D_B; I still CANNOT understand HOW vitamins kill cancer! and if they did why on earth are there so many radiation oncology departments all over the world, even in the west? whats been most shocking is how you mention that even if the cancer has metastisized, then it is still able to be treated.
Cure lies in the hands of Allah, but most doctors will throw in the towel if a patient suffers from secondary cancers! they stop all curative treatments and treat 'em palliatively, more like pain boosts and whatnot.
You need to break the cancer’s DNA in at least two places so that it doesn’t self repair, only then can the cancerous cells be “killed”. I cant see HOW vitamins could possibly kill such cells. And if the recovery is close to 100% then why is it not popular?!? With the radiation oncologists I work with, I have YET to hear them mention something remotely close to this.
I would appreciate link to journal articles that have perhaps discussed what you are suggesting, and/or clinical trials that reflect its applicability to the treatment of cancer (even metastatic :hayaa:)
K_B; cancer (to my knowledge) can be treated with
new techniques include BNCT (boron neutron capture therapy) and Proton therapy. Proton therapy is the lastest development but it is daaaaamn expensive! BNCT is still not as popular.
as for stories, I think I mentioned a few in the first post of this thread

Re: cancer and its treatments
Someone I know was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. After removing the thyroid, patient underwent radiation treatment several times to kill The cancer that had spreaded to the chest and had broken itself in several pieces if I remember correctly. For the time being this person is a survivor alhamdullilah.
Re: cancer and its treatments
vit B12 only helps prevent gastric ( stomach) cancer
Re: cancer and its treatments
Some types of cancer are hereditary and cancer in your family automatically puts on the radar for possible trouble. I read that eating foods and supplements that are rich in antioxidants help protect you from cancer not necessarily cure it, although there are cases of that happening as well.
I have a friend who recovered from a certain type of leukemia but has to be isolated from people as her immune system has been greatly affected. I also had a phupoo who died of cancer, another phupoo who is recovering from it. I have worked with neuro cancer patients for many years and have seen happy endings as well as some sad ones. I guess there are statistics, possibilities, predictabilities and surprises. There is a lot more work to be done in this area.
Re: cancer and its treatments
kb, you really cant talk about cancer in such general terms...so much depends on what type of cancer it is. Different cancers have very different survival rates. Next is what stage is the cancer - stage 1 being early and stage 5 usually referring to "end stage". As far as types of treatments, I think Pinks pretty much covered it all. There are also clinical trials always going on which study potential new treatments. Some of the more promising ones deal with extracting part of a cancerous tumor, replicating its DNA in a lab but modifying it so that the body's own natural immune system can effectively kill it off and then returning it to the patients body. This type of treatment is still in very early stages but sounds promising. I hope this helps.

very nice. Whatelse does vitaminB12 do beside attempting to cure cancer and tumor?
can one add vit B12 supplement in his/her diet without having any kind of disease?..
Re: cancer and its treatments
diet - anti oxident rice diet - cranberries and teas.
Re: cancer and its treatments
it is amazing that for years in movies, potrayal of a cancer patient is always with a bleak survival chances. It adds to the fear that has been created.
The treatment is dependent on the type of cancer.
I personally know of couple of stories...as it has touched the life of my loved ones a little too closely:(

Exactly!!!!
When it was first diagnosed to my loved one we were shocked, horrified, in denial etc etc. We thought we were gonna lose her. Luckily the type of cancer she had was curable. Starts with a "P", can't remember what it's called now. It was caught just in time though. And mashALLAH, Alhumdullilah she is a survivor!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats the thing with the potrayal. A friend whose son had it, was asked by others if they were some way or the other the cause of it, maybe used so and so product...It sure can get really debilitating for the parents.I remember the mother saying that it feels so weird saying to others that her son had cancer...just listening to her own words.may Allah Mian give them a long and healthy life with their child.
I think we need to be more educated about it as a society too.
And Mashallah it is so good that your loved one got shifaa.may Allah Mian keep her healthy and safe:).

First of all, B12 does not "cure" cancer. People always like to spread rumors about how some miracle substance can treat all kinds of cancer...unfortunately, some cancer patients fall prey to these rumors and discontinue their medical therapy. More often than not, their disease takes a turn for the worse.
Vitamin B12 is still very important...deficiencies can result in anemia and neurological problems. However, if you regularly eat meat and eggs and/or drink milk, you have more than enough.
That said, there are many things people can do to significantly reduce their risk of developing cancer:
Don't use tobacco *- Smoking cigarettes, cigars, hukka, etc, as well as chewing tobacco is associated with an elevated risk of developing all sorts of cancer (mouth, throat, lung, bladder, and many others).
*
Don't drink alcohol - Also linked to a whole laundry list of cancers (esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas).
**
Don't chew chhaliyan/supari/paan/betel nut** - Studies have found that oral cancers occur 30 times more frequently in people who chew chhaliyan.
**
Consume a diet high in fiber and low in fat **- This is especially linked to reducing the risk of developing breast and colon cancer.
*Wear sunscreen whenever you go outside *- The lighter your skin is, the more important this becomes in preventing skin cancer.
Salaam,
I think Pinks answered the question on treatments.
Hormones can also be used for the treatment of cancer, but they're mainly used to stop the growth of tumour rather than kill the tumour. They're mainly used for prostate, breast and thyroid cancers.
And as has been pointed out by others, the treatment outcomes rely heavily on the stage of disease.
Also the usefullness of certain treatments is only if the organ/tissue with the cancer will react to the treatment. For example, giving hormone treatment to a cancer that is not hormone responsive is pointless.
