Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

Can't believe they cancelled The Event and V... especially since they previously cancelled Flashforward because of V. There are so many on the list that I used to watch regularly, and I'm really pissed off at them being cancelled. Hate Network televsion for that sometimes.

Outsourced, Off the Map, Better with you, Defenders, The Event, Mr. Sunshine, Perfect Couples, Running Wilde, Traffic Light, and V are all I really enjoyed. I'm not too sad about The cape, $#*! My dad says, Mad Love, and No Ordinary Family, though I watched them regularly.

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

Ok, Chicago Code was a bit dramatized but come on, I would rather have that with its complex characters than some L & A clone.

No ordinary family ran its course and was tanking in the ratings. V was actually becoming like the older eighties show when in the end Anna's "daughter" mesmerized all of mankind save for a few.

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

i absolutely looooved outsourced, breaking in, mr sunshine and life unexpected. i cannot believe they canceled them!!

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

Hmm I also thought Mr. Sunshine had good ratings from at least what I read. Those writers must either be lying or were clueless morons.

I can see about outsourced being a little too raw with the american public that is loosing jobs left and right to outsourcing, though I have yet to watch it myself.

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

I can't believe they're cancelling so many shows! I'll miss The Chicago Code, Better With You, Mad Love, Mr.Sunshine, Outsourced and Traffic Light.

They were all really good shows, and just when you're really getting to know the characters, they go and cancel it! I loved Traffic Light, it was so funny! Stupid Fox.

And what about Breaking In? That one was pretty good too.

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

I hate when shows get cancelled on cliffhangers like Flashforward did. So stupid! I'm glad I haven't been following most of those shows. But I did follow V so that ended on a cliffhanger and I bet so will The Event. Dumb dumb dumb. I should seriously stop watching network serialized shows.

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

I think the Event has run its course with the portal opening (i guess people know what the "event" is now) though they could leave a cliffhanger to entice viewers for a second season. I don't know if I want another V type show as that is what event would have become in a second season; NBC shot itself in the foot with the long hiatus.

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

I’m going to miss Outsourced too! It was dumb but it was funny! Grrr I hate it when I get into a show from the first season and they just up and end it. It’s so annoying! :grumpy:

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

I'm upset about outsourced.................no wonder they paired everyone up in the finale

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

I don't think that was the plan. Like...I wanna see what happened with Asha and Todd. There was definitely chemistry happening again. Boo =(

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

^ Well, I guess we can say that they'll be together since the last scene was of them holding hands and watching the fireworks. But I agree, I would have loved another season of Outsourced...

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

I knooow...but the drama! How can there be a gora-desi weddng without the drama :D

Re: Canceled/Ending Shows (Fall 2011 TV)

pheww Covert Affairs is not in there...
I have not watched any shows in the list except Outsourced and yeaa they could have kept it for one more season as characters were still building up. Smallville should have ended long time ago.
