I went to the bank today to get some Canadian currency (no Khumar, it’s not much, only 20 CAD - in case I need to buy batteries or paan - you are still paying for the donut ). I asked for 5 dollar bills and here is what I noticed:
Well, first of all, the US dollar is weak these days, so for $20, I got 20 CAD Now, on 2 of the 5 dollar bills, there was this silver line on the left side and on the other 2 there wasn’t any silver line. Also, 3 of the 5 dollar bills were alike (same person in the front and same back) while the 4th one had a different person’s picture on the front and some kids ice skating I think.
Why is that so? Can’t you people remain consistent?
people just love to counterfit our notes (maddy don’t you pick on my spellings ) so they kept revising the 5 buck note. the one with the silver line is the latest version. the others are supposed to be sent in to the mint to be recycled
