Has anyone experience this??

SINGLE ENTRY VISAS

Nationals and residents of the following countries are eligible for single entry visas only:

Afghanistan, Bosnia, Croatia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Montenegro, Pakistan, Palestine passport or travel document holders,Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sudan, Syria

Do not submit processing fees for multiple-entry visas. No refunds of the difference between single entry and multiple entry fees will be issued.

Meaning you can't get an open ended visit visa which allows frequent travel to and from said country.

You will have to get a visit visa every time you wish to enter the country.

when did this happen ? i have a 3 yr multiple work visa from canada which i got sometime mid last yr (i had only requested for a visit visa for a month i believe).

also, if you have not traveled outside the US since the date of your visa, you can enter Canada without a visa. the so called 'single' entry visa is a multiple visa as long as you travel between Canada and US (not sure if this includes Mexico and if this policy has also changed)

Thats true, some times.
Ive had 3 canadian single entry visit visa's so far and 2 of them were marked (used) upong the first entry. Ive also had 3 multiple entry visa's in the past. And now this lousy policy change...

it doesn’t but canadians chose to gave me work visa. i actually sent an email to the consulate to confirm:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your visa was issued correctly.

I recently received my passport. I notice that it has been issued a WX-1 / Worker visa. I had submitted the application for a visitor’s visa. WX-1 visa is a Business Visitor visa. It’s NOT a work permit… as you can’t be considered for remuneration from a Canadian business. From what I know… the only purpose for it is for business registration procedures etc.
