Any guppy recently completed the “Canadian Securities Course” (CSC) I need the books for the said course from Canadian Securities Institute.If any one member of Canadian Securities Institute(CSI) please let me know.

Any how "canadian securities course" is a requirement for lisence to sell mutual fund and other financial securities and first step towards stock broker.

my bro did the CSC last year, and I'm planning to do it in about a year's time to work towards the FMA designation. Shoot your questions and I'll see if I can answer them.

Hi, Umar bahi actually I am also planning to do it in future but these books are only available to members of the institute but right now I don't want to register with institute.Do you know how much study time require to complete this.I have Master's degree in Economics(G.C. Lahore)

My bro studied for it over a month and a half - more or less about 5 hours a day... with longer sessions on the weekend for group study - this included some of the sample exam papers that he tried for practice.

I think you can purchase the book version for $100. Unfortunately, my books are a few years out of date and the content has changed since then.

I like to consider doing this exam but I like to preview it ahead of time to see how much time I need to spend on it. I am also studying for the Level 2 CFA.

I don't have a copy in PDF so I can't help you there - but out of curiosity - why would want to write the CSC if you are currently studying for your CFA? Are you seeking to be registered in some capacity and within what timeframe?

I ask because there may be limited value in your writing the CSC.

These books always gets updated..it is always best to get it straight from them, while I was studying for this course, they updated their books and added 5 more chapters on it.
