Canadian Rockies

Anyone ever been out there?

Re: Canadian Rockies

yes.

Re: Canadian Rockies

This thread is extremely information. :k:

Re: Canadian Rockies

The rockies start from Northern Ontario (I think) and go all the way across to British Columbia. Which area are you particularly interested in?

Re: Canadian Rockies

and your post is extremely “hilarity”

Re: Canadian Rockies

PCg,

I have been there and loved it. I started off in Vancouver and spent time trekking and camping in Banff and Jasper National parks. Also visited Lake Louise and Lake Moraine - was surrounded by breathtaking views throughout the trip. If you love nature and want to get away from the usual touristy trails then the Candian Rockies are a must.

Best time to go is around Aug-Sept when the weather is just perfect.

Good luck and have a safe trip, don’t forget to share the pics when you return.

Re: Canadian Rockies

PCG, you need to first visit the US Rockies .. :hoonh:

Re: Canadian Rockies

Not even close. It starts from western alberta.

Re: Canadian Rockies

Exploring western Canada in an RV is best way. But one can take a Grayline tour between May and October. It takes a whole day to travel between Banff and Jasper.

The scenery is surreal. The place is full of Australians and Germans. Most hostels offer long stay rates to 20 something job seekers.

Re: Canadian Rockies

Well, I did say I wasn’t sure. :snooty:
