Well there is a variety of different Saturday morning-afternoon desi tv shows.
For instance, Vision TV, hosts a whole days of shows such as Jafry’s TV Asia, Dil Dil Pakistan, Vision’s of Pakistan, Des Pardes, etc.
Also there is many many more local tv shows, on your own tv channels, only available in your area. Like I know here in the West, we get some more different shows from Edmonton, Vancouver, on different channels, which the Toronto folks won’t see, etc.
Anyways my point being is, do you think what these folks are doing is the right thing? How would you change some of these tv shows?
The other day, I was watching that Dil Dil Pakistan, and good ol’ Fakhr-e-Alam, and Hadiqa Kiani, hosted the whole show. Haha he wouldn’t even let her talk, and just go on and on and on.
But yeah, what do you think would be your type of show on Saturday mornings? Well I really hate that Visions of Pakistan on Vision, since it’s always that boring guy Basher Khan (If anyone of you guys know him personally, tell him his show sucks), at least he should put in some decent song.
I would make a show like “Pepsi Top Ten” and show the top ten songs in Pakistan… but these people need their sponsers on, so it’s tough. Got to please everyone.
