Time for you Americans to move to the great white north The weather might be colder but the hearts are much warmer than the land of the free.
In other news, Canada’s prime minister welcomes syrian refugees at the airport:
Prime minister says:
“this is something we are able to do in this country because we define a Canadian not by a skin color or a language or religion or background but by a shared set of values, aspirations, hope and dreams that, not just Canadians but people around the world share.”
I'm super duper highly impressed with the way canadians have greeted syrian refugees. Hands down, whole world in particularly americans have a lot to learn from current govt of Canada.
However, if there would be be harper govt again, it would be entirely different. So that tells you the story that in western democracies, the power of vote can change entire scenario, as it has happened here.
The weather might be colder but the hearts are much warmer than the land of the free.
