I want to share that CANADA not fought a war Since 1812. Now almost 2 centuries passed but never involve in direct war.
Due to this reasons people from ASIA and FAR EAST want to settle in Canada for better and secured future as compare to own country.
More interesting to share facility for education, transport, medical and get better pay scale job. Low crime rate and better facility force every country people to settle in Canada.

I think Sharif Bhai is trying to tell us what a good country Canada is becuase it is not directly involved in war since 1812.
However to correct him I must say that Canadian troops have been in action across the world and continue to fight in Afghanistan and have even sustained some terrible casualties.
War is part of human existence however while nearly every nation in History has fought in some sort of war, we should all do out best to limit bloodshed especially when it's innocent lives. I would love my children to grow up in a world without war... sadly that does not look possible. However I would love to see war conducted in an honourable fashion and weapons of mass destruction in particular should be controlled or even removed as they are a danger to innocents too.

The correct statement may be that Canada has not unilaterally declared or initiated war since 1812. It has participated first as a british colony and later since WW2 as an allied partner in war and peacekeeping missions.

fyi, every years Canadians honor their WW1 and WW2 veterans and I am sure there are many other wars that Canada took part in with most recent one in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Not a valid argument. By the start of WW2 Canada was a fully independent nation and had the choice about whether or not to initiate a war against Nazi Germany despite a lack of German aggression against Canadian persons or possessions. The country chose to join the war of its British ally.
