Muslim Canadian Congress is asking for a ban on burkah and niqaab because they belive it is not in islam to cover your face (do niqab) or wear burkah… They argument is back up by an egyptian scholar who told them that no where in Quran it is stated to do niqaab… They also said that we women in canada are being forced by our parents/husbands to wear burkah even though we dont want to.
As for as i am concerned i am NOT being forced. If they did ban pardah what is going to be their next step. Stop dressing the way you want to dress?
What free will do we talk about ? If we do have a freedom of belief, freedom of religion, than we also have a freedom of how we dress.
