canada has joined the coalition forces?

hay..i just read on the CNN that canada has joined the coalition forces and now are fighting against the iraqi forces!

how true is this news? if it is then big time lanat on john chreatian :nook:

Maybe the Yanks are sick of shooting Brits and thought Canadians would provide some target variety?

Why shouldn't that be not true....Canada another chamcha country of America. So why so suprised?

It's part of an exchange program, 31 or so Soldiers from Canada are there. Not taking part in offensive attacks, so no Canada is not really part of the coalition.

I heard Canada is sending a destroyer.

Wait a minute…Canada has a navy? :konfused:

well as far as in know, Canada is involved in war in iraq and its forces [few in numbers] are helping coallitions in and around iraq. Chretien is cracking under pressure from both USA and his own liberal party. :-)

More American ignorance

Not sure how true this is. Canada already has their ships available in the area to help on the war on terrorism, not on Iraq though.

The Canadian prime minister refused to reply when asked if Candian soldiers are present on Iraqi soil. And so we can assume that they are. :)

Canada is contributing more to the war than almost all of the 41 countries in the coalition.
