Whoever “appoints” COAS should be able to fire him as well, same for ISI chief. Now we all have demanded “resignations” from politicians in past for their failures, when did they resign? I guess we are in unfortunate part of the world where people don’t acknowledge their failure and resign, rather pass the blame on to others. Even if they accept their failure they are stubborn enough to hold on to their chairs.
The other question is, WOULD Zardari fire COAS/Pasha? Answer would be: depends on $$$ offered.
