Can you see inside a home using Google Earth ?

Some one told me that in cetain city you can zoom to the street level and see inside someone’s home if their drapes and blinds are not covering their windows. I tried to find more information on this using google search but did not find any info.
If this is true , which cities are those ?

umm ... Google is using only a few percent of zooming what actually is in use by NASA!

I have seen a picture taken by sattellite in reader's digest, of a car running at a speed +100Km/h and you can read the brand name of cigarate placd on dash board! ... alarming eh!

If you want more zooming power and picture clarity, get the Google Earth PRO. It does a bit more than google maps does online.

As far as invasive power goes, there are some hardcore applications out there that can zoom very well to show fine detail like ATA said up there.

Sky's the limit. Some are public, and some aren't for public.

With Infra Red Camera it may be possible, but not with Google Earth!

infra red camera shows you warm spots. wouldn't it be hard to recognize ppl that way? oh look! is that a vase? a person? a dead chicken?
