Initially you cant say no. You start by doing everything, learning everything, gettig involved in every project.
Later on in your career - you learn to say no (in a very potically correct way). Your projects are selective. You are more focus on what is going to help your career.

to say No, many times, may be essential to going up the ladder that is not at the behest of wrongdoers and dishonest unethical people at work - spread vertically to either ends, by heirarchy.

You can say 'no' and yet progress in your career. Remember if you keep saying 'yes', you may not be considered teh rigth man for top job.

Yes you can say No.. and i did it many times in my very small career yet. Even i got promoted..
