Can you recommend any good muslim book(s). If you have read any good islamic book(s) lately something that explains quran e majeed or a surah in detail or about Muslim Heroes or something you didnt want to put down, please share it with me and others. I would appreciate if anyone has any website links to these books online.

Why don't you start with reading 'tafsir ibn kathir' the explanation of the Noble Quraan. www.tafsir.com
Brother i would recommend Thalathool Usool by Imaam Muhammad ibn 'Abdul-Wahhaab (rahimahuAllaah) the sharh 'Explanation of the Three Fundamental Principles of Islam' by the noble shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen (rahimahuAllaah) is also very beneficial.
Also 'Kitab al-Tawheed' by Shaykh Abdul-Wahhaab (rahimahuAllaah) and 'Shar'h Usool al-eemaan' by Shaykh Uthaymeen (rahimahuAllaah) and 'Kitaab Sharh us-Sunnah' by Imaam al-Barbahaari (rahimahullaah) are great books to begin with for the seeker of 'ilm.

For books of Aqeedah , it might be beneficial to read The Authentic Creed by Shaykh Ibn Baaz <> and the creed of the 4 Imaams .. I have both these books in ACROBAT and can send you the file if you give me your email, inshALLAH.
For explanations of verses, it might be wise to purchase Tafsiir ibn Kathir << or read it online as the other brother pointed out >> and Tafsiir at -Tabari.

describes the sahabah there life and what they contribute to islam! very good book will encourage all muslims who read it!
