in bathroom while doing ablution?
Place where we pee or whatever is considered na-pak and advised to not say Allah SWT’s name there .so since most of the washrooms have a washbasin in the same place, what should one be doing?

Re: Can we read dua
I did asked an Alim the same question and the reply was that if the bathroom is clean, Najasat and smell does not stay then it should not be a problem to recite dua. The only thing to be carefull is that not to recite any dua when you pee or you are passing stools. If you thing of modern bathrooms in offices or home they are much cleaner then many other places we sit.
Although this problem is due to modern design. It only cost very little to keep the toilets seprate from the bassin and shower. Where we spend a lot of money for other things then we should spend a little more and have peace of mind at home.
But if it is the type where the smell or Najasat stays then don't recite.

I personally feel it should be okay to say any duaa in ur bathroom while doing ablution or washing hands n face coz you flush your najasat with lots of water that comes out with force, and makes it clean. yes it wont be clean if you are having visible najasat on ur toilet seat. keep ur toilet clean and it should not be a prob.
