Exactly!
why are so many muslims stuck in the dark ages? anyway, do not expect tolerance when you show none. if you discriminate based on religion, please dont whine about being profiled by your religion either.
^ True
It is one of the reason of pathetic state of afairs, Muslims find themselves in. We love to Hate others based on their beliefs. Which is Totally against the teaching of Islam. Or better Put it this way " We love to make Fun of Islam’s teaching" and then we cry that Islam tells us this and that. Hipocracy at its best :k:
When we get thrashing from every corner of the world, I think we being morally bank corrupt deserve it very well.
He may not be the highest authority, But all he said is 100% truth.

If it's halaal right...if not noooo......
What about in the reverse situation, are hindus allowed to eat muslim food, as in 'halaal' food? I know for most sikhs, halal food is totally forbidden. halal to them is like haram food is seen by us...well according to a friend it is anyway...

any source...
I don't understand why you guys make religion so hard for yourselves?
Islam is a religon of common sense. Common sense tells me eating food from a non muslim is fine. Why would Allah make such a rule? Come on guys, wake up and smell the folgers.
Why wouldn't he? Well so it's not as hard as it allready is to help some one convert to Islam. The last thing you would want to say to them is, "Hey! I can't eat that, it's FOOD!" Meat makes sense but other then that you can eat everything with them. God bless the blessed.
^
if u r 100% sure that the food is not haraam, u can happily enjoy it....
but make sure u know all the categories of haraam food....
Guys
Excuse my ignorance here cos I genuinely do not know - does the "sprinkling of urine bit" that MyStiCaL_MisS mentioned hold any truth?
Serious replies only and no hindu/muslim bashing please.

Haram as in if I pee on you?
there are real problems of providing pure water to people
Suspecting that sewage might be seeping into the pipeline, they said that the contaminated water had already caused intestinal diseases.
You cant be sure. Even if is totally vegeterian food, you dont know what they did before the hindu friend presents that food to you.
A lot of hindus offer everything (also food) to their stones. Which makes it haraam for us to eat.
As it is offered to someone else than Allah.
So it is better not to eat that food just to be on the safe side.
Alright Alright ,I thought maybe somebody would bring up some sensible points concerning this issue- but not too many have done so.
I bet more than 90% of the folks in this thread have at one point or other eaten at a restaurant in their lives- the restaurant being a non desi - non Muslim type. You all have gotten coffee or donuts from Tim Hortons Im assuming? Or an ice cream from Dairy Queen?
How is eating foods from the places I just mentioned- any different from eating at a non Muslim's house? Ofcourse you wont eat meat there (again Im assuming) but you'll eat veggies etc ?? Why is this such a big issue? If your Hindu friend does offer you a meal -Im sure he/she will know you're a Muslim and that you eat halal stuff? He's not going to force something down your throat!
Now you're all welcome for my help.:o
… especially when hindu gods have been dipped into the water…
[India News]: Patna, Oct 24 : Green activists in Bihar say immersion of hundreds of idols by Hindu devotees over the weekend has increased pollution levels in the Ganges river, threatening the existence of water organisms including the dolphin.
… The synthetic paints applied on idols, detergents, mica, synthetic flowers, plaster of paris and other items increases the pollution of the Ganges river, which is known to be one of the most polluted in India.
i agree whay cant both use nuclear power to desalinate sea water or
clean up rivers ?
