I don't understand the first 2 sentences.
As far as the question is concerned, if you read carefully, I said that I am going to 'want to' slap someone with crappy smelling mouth if they come close enough to me.
And yes certainly my household members or nearest relatives or whatever. Of course, I would not actually slap them but certainly would want to for being so rude and disgusting. I would certainly tell them how I feel about it, in appropriate terms, depending on who I am talking to. I would certainly be harsher with family than non-family.
That is the level of discomfort somebody's bad breath causes - 'nuf said.
Oh, and people, while you are brushing, don't forget to floss your teeth and scrape your tongues,
because brushing is only half the battle.
Flossing between the teeth (especially the back ones) and scraping the tongue are the most effective ways of
reducing bad breath to a great extent, even more so than brushing.
Flossing is more important for meat eaters because meat particles stuck in between back teeth rot and smell like crap if not removed by floss thread regularly.
So the people who have unnecessary hang-ups about brushing with toothpaste during Ramzan should at least do these 2 things. Problem solved.

I do all that after sehri (we finish our sehri 10 mins earlier to save time for this ritual) and after dinner at night. I agree that this the best way of getting rid of any bad breath.
Off course because all this require inserting fingers and objects deep in my mouth, I dont do it during fast, in case i gag and/or vomit. :D
