as i said since its a railroad crossing, for safety reasons, the gate must be closed when the train is approaching...don't u see barriers down when a train is passing? its has to or else the train wud crush cars and kill scores of people :)**

nope, we assume its working! :) btw, its a manual gate so the railway employee who is stationed there is his job to close the gate or else he'll lose his job :) there is a logical explanation so look closely :)
