Can Sprint PCS mobile phones work in Pakistan?

I have a bunch I wanna take to Pakistan for my upcoming trip. Is there any way to get them to work over there under any plan? I will throw them away otherwise.

I am fairly sure you can't. GSM phones will work, once unlocked, but I don't think there are any PCS carriers in Pakistan.

Last time I was over there, I saw someone using same make/model as my samsung that I used for pcs here. Can’t remember what company his plan was with.

no they don't they don't have any sim thing to unlock them. Sprint phones only work with sprint. Whereas TMobile u can ask them this number thing where they will unlock ur sim. So in short....no they will not work there.

I think anything but Sprint or Verizon phones will work there. Such as TMobile, AT&T, Cingular, etc.

Sell ur phones on ebay if u don’t want to keep them!

If the sprint PCS phones are based on the AMPS system, they can be used with the Paktel and Instaphone services in Pakistan. GSM phones can be used with Mobilink, U-Fone and Paktel-GSM.
I think sprint PCS uses AMPS system. Check out their manual or from the web.
