Can someone write me a firefox extension

I need an easy way to prefix a proxy URL string before the URL of some of the sites that I’m visiting. It’s a pain to copy-paste it every single time I hit a page where I need to do this.

I’m thinking there might be the option of writing an extension for firefox where I can have a button to click. Clicking the button will simply take the URL in the address bar and prefix a pre-specified proxy string with that original URL and Reload the page.

The pre-specified string could possibly be in the about:config template (???)

How difficult / easy is this to do? I don’t have the time to look for a solution online but any suggestions are welcome.

Also, any alternative suggestions that you might have are also welcome.

Please don’t tell me to just do it manually… I’m talking about going to hundreds of sites where I might need to do this.

What’s the budget :chai:

Re: Can someone write me a firefox extension

^ it is negotiable... willing to pay either for the person's time or a fixed $ value that we can agree upon.

I know I can personally get it done in about 4 - 5 hours which includes research time and development time. Unfortunately, I don't have that kinda time right now.

Never mind - I did it using Firefox iMacros.
