From my gathering if the person who saw the dream wears black often, the the dream refers to the prosperity of a pious woman of the household, if not then it means sorrow to a pious woman of the household.
The dream has strong imagery and depending on how it was observed either with amazement or with concern, then it governs the dream outcome.
Wallahu'alim ... Dream interpretation is one of the things I am studying and it is never easy.
Also if the person who saw the dream is male and is unmarried then the dream can mean ... Power, prosperity through marriage in to a pious family.

Even when you feel negative about the dream or think that it was a negative dream your just supposed to give sadqa and think of it as good or should I think of my this dream as a good one? but you just dont know the interpretation of it?

I saw someone else wearing black in my dream, not myself. I was also very happy when i woke up after the dream...my whole dream was really good i was just concerned about the black clothes bit....so i guess its all good?

Ok ... With the extra information ... If the dream is a true dream then it could be ...
That you will be in the position of power or honour when the marriage of a woman from your household marries either this man, a man who looks like this man, his brother or someone with the same name as this man.
Or possible combinations of these where someone else is doing the marrying or getting honoured ... I have checked about 5 or 6 references based on your dream and this is the combined suggestion forming from those factors. Ref. Ibn Sirin,'s dictionary of dreams.
Don't be concerned with black clothes ... It means honour and power not necessarily for the wearer.

Please I want to avoid taking responsibility for dream interpretations ... I offered some pointers when someone was desperate for something to be said ... a female seeing black colour is such a random description it could be anything to nothing. The request does not even make sense ... We don't see colour by itself - we see colour as an attribute to things ... like black scarf or black coat or black skin or black ink ... never just black ... it doesn't mean anything.
And this thread is opened by another person. Usually the urgency of a dream to be explained is a sign that it should given some consideration.

Psyah, I think what she meant was that as you said if a man sees the dream above it means yada yada so what does it mean if a woman sees a similar dream?
Thank you so much for your help though. Much appreciated. I didn't want exact interpretation either but just my concern to be addressed about the person wearing black in my dream..so i'd know whether the dream is a good one or a bad one if it does mean anything at all and is some kind of a sign or what...rest Allah knows best...

No, I meant to say, a female can see wearing a black scarf on head, or she can see black hair, and i thought, the possible interpretation of such a dream is perhaps she would get a pious husband?

Being in a house means marriage of oneself or with a daughter if already married
