In Pakistan what is the time when the above time is in aussiland?
obviously 5 hours difference generally but i’m getting confused with the GMT,EST etc
I don’t want to think right now, so can someone answer ?

in the address bar type in :time in Australia: and it will give exact time there. you can find out anytime anywhere in the world...
GMT is 5 hours behind Pak time in during summer [Daylight time] and 6 hours during winter [standard Time]

When it is the above time in those time zones it is 8PM in Australia and 3PM in Pakistan.
GMT, EST, PST etc are time zones. In the summer there is daylight savings (clock goes forward) so the time difference between GMT and Pakistan is 5 hours. In winter daylight savings end (clock goes backwards) so the time difference is 6 hours. It would be easy if Pakistan also did daylight savings so the difference would remain the same all year round.

I thought day lightssvings time was a purely us thiblng. Didn't realize Britain also does it.
