I’d like to have this outfit made Perhaps in a slightly less bright color) and as a full length dress. I’d like to see if any of our home based designers can make it for me and the cost thereoff. The folks at Utsav has offered that they can do this with any Saree they sell an additional $25 over the cost of the Saree. I’d rather order from a Pakistani designer though. Let me know if there are any bids.
i dont think this can be made unless we can get same or similar fabric with same motifs.
if you wish to have same style and work on a dress then its doable.

The style and the pattern of kaam can be copied.the printed banarsi similar to the pic would be difficult to find though.i can do it for 12k rs on a pure banarsi fabric but cant say abt getting a similar print

doing it on shanghai would ruin it in my opinion, it does seems shiny but if you notice its shiny where light is too bright and its golden weaved threads/print otherwise fabric base is normal.
it can be be copied but again in terms of feel it would be no where near it or i may say satisfactory..
also i would caution buyer and sellers not to venture in this one, look in image carefully and you would get the answer.

I have no idea. I am more interested in the shape and the idea of the dress "inspiration" rather than a straight copy. I think it would translate well to a full length outfit but you guys are the designers. I was thinking of choosing a banarsi sari from Utsav and seeing if they can do it.... I agree though probably isn't as simple as it looks....
