I need to know the contact info of some good cardiologists in Karachi. Preferably around Shah faisal colony area. I need to know the names, contact numbers n timings to arrange an appointment.

I’ll really really appreciate any help.

Call the wellknown Hospitals they will tell you the Cardiologists that practices there...

Hi Afia, Hope you and the little ones are well.
In the Shah Faisal Colony area there arent many good hospitals, so you wont be able to find one in that area. However, I know about quite a few good ones at Agha Khan Univ Hospital, which is off SharaeFaisal near Karsaz area, so it isnt very far from Shah Faisal Colony. Right next is Liaquat National Hospital, few famous cardiologists there. Meanwhile a new pvt hospital set up by the Tabba Society is the Tabba Heart Institute, it was inaugurated abt 2 yrs ago and has earned some excellent reviews and is a good facility. Lots of seniors docs there.
The other 2 places where you can head are the CMH at Malir, which will be closer to the Shah Faisal Colony on the air port side.
The NICVD (Nat’l Inst of Cardio vascular diseases) is also very well renowned, but is a bit far towards the city center.

I’m afraid I dont have any personal references for any particular good or favoured cardiologists as per your requirements at the moment, but I could ask and let you know in a while.

Harris, Thanks a lot for taking your time out to reply.

I have never been to karachi except for transitting once in a while so really don't know anything about there.
My father just got diagnosed with Angina...n requires some tests.Sadly, there are no facilities for these tests in our city...n he just keeps postponing his check up in the city near by. Now he is going to karachi for 10 days n doesn't have any hectic schedule so i want him to get the check up done there. I just fear k he might neglect it again, so i want to book the appointment n ask a relative to take him there on the day. sadly, its the most i can do from sooo far away.

Agha Khan hospital is probably the best and the most reliable.

You're welcome Afia. I'm glad your dad is doing generally well after the angina. Do force him to have a good check up while in Khi. InshAllah he'd be just fine.
