Re: Can profanity/galian be used for a good cause ?
When you bad mouth other religion or their religious figures, they come back and bad mouth yours.
In Bukhrai, Book of Manners
Prophet Mohammed said. “It is one of the greatest sins that a man should curse his parents.” It was asked (by the people), “O Allah’s Apostle! How does a man curse his parents?” The Prophet said, “'The man abuses the father of another man and the latter abuses the father of the former and abuses his mother.”
Re: Can profanity/galian be used for a good cause ?
For example:
During preaching can someone bad mouth other religions and their religious figures ?
While condemning a criminal, dictator or mischief maker ?
While promoting your political views can one use bad words against other political leaders and against their agenda's and policies ?
In my view, a decent and civilized person need not use rough/indecent language to support his noble cause. There can be so many decent ways to support one's views and if one doesn't find them convincing enough than he should admit that he can't lead others on his way to a glorious path. **Though in practice, it doesn't happen.**
